Fake bookshelves where the windows used to be

Papered on the boarded up windows of the shop that was Cook on Western Road (the former post office) in Brighton. I rather liked this...

@neela @stelamb Thank you! You're wonderful. (and the flowers aren't bad either :-))

I'm liking the longevity of this birthday. Due to Royal Mail forgetting to deliver post for the days leading up to my birthday there were cards and a couple of gifts waiting when we got back from the Isle of Wight. And now beautiful flowers. I'm lucky!

My birth announcement...

One of Mum's work friends, who I've been emailing because of the storyline project I'm doing for Mum, sent me a birthday card. In it she enclosed this, the announcement card she was sent by Mum and Dad. How amazing that she still had it, and how thoughtful of her to send it through. This project, which started as a project for Mum and her carers, has brought so much joy to me as well.

England played West Germany at football at Wembley Stadium (and lost 1-3).

Earlier that day, at 2:20pm, I was born.

I have flowers, a bonsai tree, a stationery dog, treatment room vouchers, chocolates, champagne - oh @Madgex you've spoilt me

Little tree, big dog? Not sure :)
